Ski Improvement Courses - Europe
Natalie’s Travel in conjunction with Snoworks brings you a number of ski improvement courses in Europe to choose from.
Snoworks are not worried about 'how you look' and they don't teach you to ski a particular 'way'. You learn the 'skills' of skiing, how to adjust them and how to apply them to the varying conditions. To say you'll be amazed at your improvement is an understatement!
Advanced and experts can learn to venture further off-piste, on to even steeper terrain, learn to tackle the most demanding of mogul fields and master all types of snow conditions. "All Terrain" does it all or if you fancy specialising then try Bumps, Off-Piste, Race, Backcountry, Technical or Adventure.
BACKCOUNTRY COURSES – for levels 4 to 6

What's involved on a Backcountry week?
Our Backcountry Courses are one of the few courses on the market bridging the divide between guiding and instructing. Not only do we take you to the most amazing off-piste we also help take your skiing to a new level. Backcountry courses are all day for 5 days and include 2.5 days with mountain guides and 2.5 days with Snoworks instructors. All the skiing is accessed by ski lift with no skinning or hiking involved to maximising downhill time. Occasionally guides or instructors may choose to hike up a short distance to access some great slopes but this is decided as a group.

Ice scares you, bumps perplex you and steep terrain baffles you. Snoworks has the answers.
Imagine - Having the confidence to go exactly where you want to go at the speed you choose to go at. To be able to slow down or speed up at will, control your descent on ice, control your speed on steeper terrain, know how to cope with a fresh fall of snow, handle crowded slopes and narrow paths. Imagine how liberating it would be to move around the mountain knowing you can cope with anything that comes your way.

Ski Levels
Level 4 - Reds and Easy Blacks
You can ski ‘reds’ at a good pace whatever the conditions and ‘easy blacks’. Difficult ‘blacks’, bumps or going off-piste, hmm, definitely need some work!
Level 5 - The Whole Mountain
You can ski ‘reds’ and ‘blacks’ whatever the conditions and at a good pace. Bumps and off-piste – not bad. You want to get to that ‘I can ski anything on the mountain’ mode to become an ‘All-Mountain Skier’.
It's seems a big jump from 4 to 5 so you may fit our 4-5 level.
A good level 4 but not quite level 5.
Level 6 - No Limits - Faster, Deeper, Bumpier, Steeper
You can ski everywhere on the mountain at high speed and are looking for new experiences to see how far you can really go! Bumps, steeps, off-piste - whatever the terrain, whatever the conditions. You’re looking for challenges - the harder, the better!
Speed & Fitness
The levels described above assume good speed and fitness. If you are below or above average fitness or speed deduct or add 1/2 to 1 level as necessary.
Unsure of your level ?
Don't worry if you are unsure of your exact level. A rough guess is good enough. We sort it all out in the resort on the first evening when you arrive.
Moving levels during the week ?
You can always move between groups during the week to go faster or slower or tackle more or less demanding slopes.
